The Characteristic Management functionality available within the TIPQA™ In-Process Inspection and Receiving Inspection modules uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to scan 2D images and create intelligent bubble drawings by extracting Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing data for import into the integrated TIPQA Quality Management Solution. The automated character scanner detects numerical dimensions and tolerances for each feature included in a part drawing to save countless hours and reduce the overall cost of quality.
